Kalanianaole Highway Retaining Wall Project

The scope of services for this project was to provide design and administration services to stabilize and improve the safety of Kalanianaole Highway in the vicinity of the Makapuu Lookout. Design services included replacing the existing CRM wall with new concrete barrier wall, removal of accumulated talus material from slopes, relocation of electrical, cable and telephone utilities to underground, replacement of guardrails, reconstruction of weakened pavement and sloped areas, pavement overlay and pavement striping.
